I have finally decided on a song for the dance during the wedding!!! This is VERY exciting to me because I have really been struggling with this decision (not sure why). I will be choreographing a piece to a song that has been dear to my heart for over a decade. It always speaks to me in some way regardless of what I'm experiencing in my life at the time. It is acoustic and David does a great job of singing it in a very heartfelt way.The song is called "We are Each Other's Angels" by David LaMotte. David is an artist that many, who are familiar with Montreat, know and love. Perhaps I should Blog sometime soon about Montreat and what an amazing place it is (for those who don't know how great it is).
I will be meeting with the beautiful Mehola Dancers that have agreed to dance on my wedding day. It couldn't possibly be a wedding of mine without some amazing dance to accompany it. We will meet on May 9th, 2009 to learn and collaborate on the choreography. I am very excited, but I feel pressure to make this choreography the best I've ever created.
